Expert Witness

Clare Martin undertakes Expert Witness assessment and reporting in the fields of employment, earnings and vocational rehabilitation, for those personal injury cases in litigation. She has worked for both claimant and defendant and over the past 10 years, has produced in excess of 150 Court reports. Clare has attended Expert Witness training and is accustomed to the Civil Procedure Rules for single joint experts.

Reports for Court can be either desktop or based on assessment of the claimant in their home. Assessment focuses on the claimant’s employment history, transferable skills, impact of injury/disability on work-related functioning, claimants’ goals for future employment and possible barriers to rehabilitation, whilst evaluating past, current and likely future employment and earnings prospects based on available occupational health and medical evidence. Occupational, earnings and labour market research are included in all reports.
